This Level 1 Pelvic Health course provides PTs OTs PTAs & COTAs with the exceptional opportunity to learn both internal and external vaginal and rectal examination, palpation, and treatment techniques of the pelvis and pelvic floor by examining live female and male simulated models and live patient videos.

Instruction in pelvic floor disorders will provide the clinician with skills for immediate clinical application and build the base for future courses. Clinicians will develop practical knowledge and skill in the treatment of bladder control problems, female pelvic organ prolapse, and male prostate-related bladder control problems.

Intervention skills will include scientifically dosed therapeutic exercise for pelvic floor muscle training, behavioral interventions, sEMG perineal biofeedback, pressure biofeedback, and neuromuscular electrical stimulation
